January 14, 1945 Retired Married
After high school, I worked in the accounting office of Best Universal Lock Co., on 75th Street, Indianapolis, IN. Then moved on to Indiana Bell (today AT&T) and worked in the Central Office Engineering Department retirng in 1999 with 32 years service.
In 1974 I had a house built on the farm where I grew up but moved to Hobert, IN. when Phil and I married. After commuting to Indy daily (a 5 hour drive round trip) for 3 years, my boss transferred my job to the group office in the downtown loop of Chicago. That made the daily round trip 2 hours.
After retirement we decided to move back to Noblesville to the house on the farm. It was way to small even for two, so we ended up purchasing 5 acres outside of Sheridan and building a house and barn. We had planned to move after 2 to 3 years but we are still here after 12 years......
Gardening, playing cards, camping and travel are my favorite things to do. We have a small bucket list of seeing all the Presiidental Museums and National Parks but it may take some time to complete.
Hope to see a lot of my classmates at the reunion and find out what the last 50 years held for them.
Thank you to everyone that helped put this fun weekend together.
May 16, 1945 Realtor, tennis player, husband www.johnmcbsellsbham.com Married
Since leaving NHS, I graduated from Ball State in 1966, taught English at Carmel H.S.
for three years (and started the tennis program) and moved to Atlanta, Georgia in
1969 "to see some of the real world" teaching English at two inner city high schools.
After our ten year marriage broke up, I left the teaching profession and have been selling real estate ever since, most of those years with RE/MAX. On 2/14/2000, I married Alexandra Emets, from Samara, Russia (on the Volga River) and she is still putting up with me.... During spare time, we love to travel, learn, read, and spoil our amazingly cute black and white Havanese dog, Peaches. I also am still addicted to tennis and enjoy playing chess.
In 2009, after 40 years in the Atlanta, GA, area, we relocated to Birmingham, AL,
and are really enjoying our friendly neighbors. Come visit us! I am looking for a photo
that doesn't make me look old & fat....

After graduating I went into the Army and was stationed at the Panama Canal Zone for the three years 1963 to 1966 , and I loved it. Jungles and all . It was a great experience for a smart a#% punk kid that would not listen to his teachers . I wish I could tell some of them that now. I heard what they said but I didn't realize the importance untill later in life. When I came back to Noblesville after the service I met and married a young lady from the Cicero, Arcadia area named Sharon Elder. I had met her at a canteen dance in Jr. High before. We got married March 2nd. 1968 and are still married today, 45 years, she was a dietician at St. Vincent Hospital on 86th. St. for almost twenty and retired. She had a son Troy from a previous marriage who was killed in California in 1986 while on vacation. We also had a Daughter in October of 1973 who is going to school to be a nurse. I worked in the automotive field for about 40 years mostly at a place called Carburetor Exchange in Indianapolis.
We moved to Florida when my wife retired and lived there for 15 years. Our daughter had a baby in 1973 so grandma wanted to move back to Indiana so she could be with her granddaughter, and here we are. Living in Ingalls Indiana freezing our buts off every winter.
