Sally Kenley had tables available for presenting memorabilia.

Attire for the evening: Casual.

After lots of hugs and hello's, a very good dinner and a photographer we hired for the event, George Ferkes picked up the emcee duties after we learned that Luke Kenley was to be the emcee for the evening, but a very late vote in the State House prohibited him from attending the reunion.

George very ably took over the reins and did a great job. He updated us with the events of the reunion and then turned the next portion of the program over to Lisa Parson Fox who had lined up some classmates who reminisced about growing up in Noblesville. John Kraft kicked it off magnificently, originally promising an interesting three hour PowerPoint presentation and ended up with no PowerPoint and a much shorter verson of his remembrances. [Whew!] Patty Waisner, Joan Light Forkish, Sam Craig and Bill Barnes rounded out this segment.

George had some parting comments and then the DJ took over "strolling" us into the rest of the evening.

Lunch and Town Tour
When: April 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

A "Get to Know Me Again" tour was arranged for the "out of towners" by Luke and George. Luke contacted David Heighway, a local historian to give a briefing in the old original circuit court room as part of a downtown tour experience. We met at the courthouse and he started out by giving us a history of the time in which we were growing up in Noblesville and the reason it was so special. This was followed by a trip inside to the courtroom where stories were told of famous trials that had taken place.
After the courthouse visit, we had lunch in town and had a blast. They kept having to add tables because so many classmates ended up joining us.
When lunch was over, the tour group was driven through the "new" Noblesville by Bud Colglazier. We were all amazed at the growth and also reminisced along the way about what had been vs what is now. It was a wonderful journey and we extend many thanks to Bud for our "update."

During this time, the class of 1963, the 50 Year Class, was honored. Each Alumni Banquet, the honored class is given time to address the entire group and present their donation to the Alumni Association. We asked Gary Crask if he would be our speaker and he graciously accepted. What we got from that request was a delightful, warm and informative look at why Noblesville is the special place it is. His goal was to make his talk relevant to all 349 attendees ... and he greatly succeeded.

What a wonderful breakfast we had. Those who could get up and get going Sunday morning made their way to The Jim Dandy where we were loud and boisterous and where we laughed and just had the best time. This was the culmination of a wonderful weekend with many more hugs, tears in our eyes ... where everyone said their good-bye's and promised to reunite again in 5 years.  See you in 2018...God willing!
